How do I sign up for FieldRova?

Choose Get started on the homepage and create an account. You set up your company workspace and land in the dashboard. If you would like a plan recommendation first, contact our sales team.

How do I set up my company?

Open Settings and start with your company profile. From there you can add business hours, job types, tax rates and your price book. The Help Center has a short guide for each.

How do I invite my team?

An Owner/Admin opens the Users tab in Settings and either sends an invitation with Invite Staff or creates an account with a temporary password using New User. You pick each person's role when you add them.

How does scheduling work?

Jobs show on Day, Week, Timeline and Month calendars. Drag a job to a new time, or to another team or technician, to reschedule or reassign it. Jobs without a date wait in the Unassigned Queue on the dispatch board.

Can I see where my technicians are?

Not live. The Map shows the day's jobs as pins, which you can filter by status, team or technician. When a technician checks in on a job, FieldRova records where they were at that moment.

What statuses can a job move through?

Draft, Scheduled, In Progress, Completed, Invoiced and Paid. Owners and Admins can add job types and sub-statuses in Settings so the list matches how your trade talks about work.

What does a client record contain?

Contacts, service locations, equipment, jobs, estimates, invoices, credits, a statement, calls and files. Anyone with access to the client sees the whole history in one place.

Can I import my existing client list?

Yes. You can import clients from a CSV file, and the Help Center explains the format. If you are moving a large list from another system, contact us and we will help you plan it.

How do estimates become invoices?

Build the estimate from your price book and send it to the client for approval. Once it is approved, convert it to an invoice. The line items carry over, so nothing is typed twice.

Can I track outstanding balances?

Yes. Each client's Statement shows charges, payments and a running balance. The AR aging report, which comes with the Pro plan, lists every unpaid invoice with its client and how many days past due it is.

What is RovaPay?

RovaPay is FieldRova's online card payments for invoices. It sits alongside payment recording, where you log what you collect by check, cash, ACH, bank transfer or card.

Is RovaPay live yet?

Not by default. RovaPay is built but not switched on for customers automatically. Until it is on for your account, record each payment you receive against its invoice. Contact us to ask where it stands for your company.

What can each role do?

Owners/Admins see revenue, crew performance and company settings. Managers run scheduling, dispatch, estimates and invoices, without access to users, roles or the company profile. Technicians see their own jobs, their schedule and the client details they need for that work.

Can technicians see anything outside their own work?

No. FieldRova checks permissions every time a request comes in, not just on the screen, so a technician only gets their own jobs and clients, on the web or in the mobile app.

Can I create custom roles?

Yes. An Owner/Admin can build a custom role, choose its permissions one at a time and assign it to people from the Users tab. The three standard roles stay as they are.

Is there a mobile app for technicians?

Yes. Technicians use it for their jobs, schedule, check-in, client details, calls and texts. Owners and managers can also open estimates, invoices and the price book. It signs in to the same account as the web app and is rolling out in stages, so ask our team about access for your crew.

Does the mobile app work offline?

Partly. Jobs and conversations you have already opened stay readable when the signal drops. Anything that needs a connection fails with a message and can be retried once you are back online.
